The HECHT PRIME city electric bike is a reliable bike designed for everyday use in the city and the countryside. The low-lying frame makes it easy to get on and off. The automatically switched electric motor helps you pedal while riding. You can even go uphill without the slightest effort. It is just as easy to control as a regular bike. The assistance is switched on with a single push of a button and the electronics take care of everything else. The motor only starts to assist when you start pedaling; as soon as you stop, the motor turns off. This means that even seniors can easily ride the bike. It is ideal for everyday commuting to work, shopping, visiting, but also for rides around the area. Using the buttons on the left handlebar, you can set 5 levels in which the motor will assist you, or turn off the assistance completely. With the assistance, it is no problem to easily ride up a hill that would make even the most hardened athletes sweat. It is equipped with a spacious basket in front of the handlebars and a rack. Under the carrier is a modern li-ion battery, with which the bike can travel up to 60 km on a single charge. Operating the e-bike itself is easy. Everything is controlled by three buttons on the left handlebar. You turn the e-bike on or off by long pressing the M button; by short pressing this button you can switch the information displayed on the display. You can then use the plus/minus (+/–) buttons to set the assistance intensity in five levels. An interesting function is the walking assistant. By long pressing the minus (–) button, the bike switches to walking assistance mode after two seconds and starts moving on its own at a speed of approximately 6 km/h. You will certainly use this function, for example, if you are pushing the bike up a steep hill. The walking assistant is only activated if you hold down the minus (–) button. As soon as you release the button, the bike stops immediately. The Li-ion battery has a capacity of 11.6 Ah / 418 Wh at a voltage of 36 V. From a complete discharge, the battery is fully charged with the supplied charger (part of the delivery) in approximately 5 hours. The motor power is 250 W. The maximum speed of the assisted bike is 25 km/h, after reaching this speed, the assistance is automatically disconnected and activated again as soon as the speed drops below 25 km/h. The bike thus meets the conditions for operation on land roads given by the applicable legal regulations for the Czech Republic and most other EU countries.

The range of a bicycle with assistance on a single charge is up to 85 km. Of course, the bicycle can be used with the assistance turned off, but it is necessary to take into account that the integrated motor with gears in the rear hub provides slight resistance when riding. Trips and cycling can finally be enjoyed by those who have health problems or are not sure of their fitness. Compared to a classic bicycle, an electric bicycle has the advantage that you do not get tired when riding - you can get to work or school on it without breaking a sweat along the way.
